    We received some incredibly sweet gifts after Archer was born. Some of them (here’s looking at you, cashmere) were too sweet for my normal laundry routine. As a family of 5, however, there isn’t time for me to hand-wash and care for each garment as the “care for” tags may suggest. The Laundress steps in and saves moms (and many others) like me who find special clothing care rather daunting.

    It has long been thought that wearing a white wedding dress was traditional, as the colour white represented purity and virginity, but that is not strictly true. Although it seems to be the norm now with the general public (celebrity weddings have always been a bit…different), originally the colour blue was thought to be associated with purity, faithfulness and to represent the Virgin Mary.

    School is in session! Which means all the extra activities and after school functions like Prom and Homecoming Dances. I have it a little easy having three boys,I think,….meaning I do not have to purchase a dress! My oldest just started high school this year so I am totally new to all of these dance functions. But, my son was brave enough to ask a girl to the Homecoming Dance so, we are diving right in! In doing my search for finding what the boys wear to these dances I thought about all of you with girls.
