As everyone knows, the core switch is the key nodes for the data center network. With cloud computing, virtualization and data trend gradually popular and data center network at is undergoing dramatic changes. The core switches are increasingly high requirements. Enterprise needs not only the performance of leading, prefer to have data center core switches conform to industry trends, leading to the architecture, data center network power build stable structure in the next ten years.

At the event, Huawei is demonstrating the latest 100 Gbps single wavelength coherent technology over Corning® SMF-28® ULL optical fiber. This Optical Interoperability Forum (OIF) standards compliant 100 Gbps technology utilizes innovative Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and next generation Forward Error Correction (FEC) enabling high capacity transport over ULH distances. In addition, Huawei is also demonstrating co-transmission with its 40 Gbps coherent solutions at 50 GHz channel spacing.

Huawei has collaborated extensively with principle industry stakeholders and major industry associations to lay the framework for key 5G technology research. Huawei is the steering board member of the European Technology Platform for 5GPPP and a key contributor to its seventh Research Framework Program (FP7) "Mobile and wireless communications Enablers for the Twenty-twenty Information Society" (METIS). The company is also a founding member of a 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) in the UK, and has been instrumental in initiating, defining and setting up 5G research programs in China like thunder-link dealer.
